Great to see the house progressing. After a couple of days running cables I was glad it was over, but it's a nice feeling to actually be doing something on your own home.

Four!!!
You'll have to keep an eye out for those golf balls.
Can't believe those brickies have left without doing the alfresco post. Maybe they'll come back when the rain goes.
Did you get the insulation batts throughout the house? They look a bit weird without the plaster to cover them up don't they.
Good job on the electricals - DH will hopefully get to ours this weekend. Any useful tips?

Perry. I actually quite enjoyed running the wires. Having the house to myself, quite, dusting off the tools & getting the hands dirty again..

Gang. Tip. Run your wires to where you want them to come through your plaster, then measure to where their location is. Why? My SS told me yesterday that Boral use predominantly Chinese to do their plastering, and they can't read or speak English..! He told me all my efforts to label the spots I wanted my speaker wire cable pulled through would be most likely ignored, and plaster would be placed over the wires.

So...with plastering scheduled tomorrow, a late night visit to site last night with tape measure, pen & paper was warranted.

Would be interested how Perri and Tony/Steve handled their wiring..?
