A little paint here & there - Thur 23/10/08

Thur 23/10/08. True to SS's word, painting commenced today. Undercoat sprayed throughout.
Tiles are now on the garage roof (although tilers looked to have called it a day just short of finishing the job...!!).
Brickies still haven't returned to brick the peirs on the pergola and alfresco, but I'm not surprised at this.

The 104s taped up and sprayed.he

mmmm... someone has had a crack at straightening the pole (wasn't me). Not perfect, but a definite improvement.

Internally you've taken the lead :-)

Everytime I see that pole I laugh hehe

Great going with the painters. Now what are your colours? You know I like to know! Ours are starting next week.

Garage roof looks great, shame the didn't finish it off......

Looking great! Pre-Christmas handover for sure.

T. Overall, I still think you're about 2 weeks ahead.
Colours..? Wish I could just reel them off from memory like you girls seem to do. Will post all these on my next entry in a few days.
Pre Christmas handover...? Not as convinced just yet. Still some pesty outside tasks to be completed, and there is always that "red dot" inspection..!! The more dots, the longer the handover...
That opening cabinet in your powder room is a winner.

Hi D&S, the kitchen really looks good, kitchen make it really start to take shape as a "home" I think. Can't understand tilers, you'd think they'd just stay and finish it? Good luck for a great Christmas!

Hi DG - Paint, how fantastic! The same thing happened to us with the roof tilers - they had the tiniest bit to go, then just disappeared for a couple of weeks!!!!

I still think you may beat US....if so, I think I'll move in with you guys!!!!!!! :-O

David, I can give you every colour and nearly every code.....bloody handles!

I'm not really sure about us being two weeks ahead.....if they can work on the inside and the outside of your place at the same time you'll be laughing!

Christmas....I'm hoping we both have handover before that. It's getting the other stuff (flooring) in before the holidays that's going to be tricky.

Very happy with my little p/r cabinet :-)

Petal & Bellebeau I owe our tilers an appology. On closer inspection of the tiles still remaining to be laid, they are all cracked. They simply had no more tiles to finish the job..!

Petal. I can see yourself, Toni and I racing to a pre xmas completion.

I'm a bit behind with this comment, but I have to ask you ... just before your ceiling was painted, did they wrap all the cabinets in plastic or did they use newspaper and then put the plastic on when they started doing the walls?
